Bridgies Bikkies: Chunky, Gooey Cookies at Fed by Jed
A delicious new snack has landed at Fed by Jed, quickly becoming a customer favourite! Taking inspiration from the iconic NYC-style cookies, Fed by Jed are now offering a rotating and expanding selection of large, chunky cookies with soft centres, epic fillings and crispy edges that are sure to make your mouth water and have you coming back for more.
Developed and prepared by our own slice Queen Bridgie - Ella’s mum - these cookies are a passion project for the mother and daughter pair. Each weekend Ella and Bridgie brainstorm new and exciting flavours - baking and testing the combos they then get friends and family to try out each and every concoction. Once they are satisfied that the flavour profile is perfect they prepare and bake fresh batches every day for the shop.
Bridgie genuinely loves making these cookies, pouring care and attention into every batch to ensure they’re just right. She is passionate about trying out new cookie flavours, always eager to explore and discover new combinations. On top of that, Bridgie gets excited each week hearing which cookie our customers sold out first and getting feedback on the flavours everyone is loving; whether it’s a classic favourite or a new creation that’s quickly becoming a hit. Her passion is heartwarming and infectious.
What makes our cookies so unique?
The size. They are larger and thicker than your traditional cookies, resulting in a more substantial bite. This bigger sized cookie allows the centre to remain soft and gooey while the outer edges become perfectly crisp and crunchy.
The texture. The special recipe dough creates a deep, caramelised flavour and a moist, chewy centre. Paired with slightly crispy edges that provide a satisfying contrast in texture.
The ingredients. We use chocolate chunks rather than choc chips. This creates pockets of gooey, melted chocolate that enhance the indulgent experience.
The flavours. The variety of unique flavours are more lavish than any standard choc-chip cookie. Think peanut butter and jam, pistachio and white chocolate or red velvet cookies.
Made with love and attention. Every cookie is lovingly baked by our Fed by Jed mum, Bridgie. Crafted using high-quality ingredients and heartfelt care.
