The launch of Support at Home
Starting from 1 November 2025, the current Home Care Package (HCP) system will be officially replaced by the new Support at Home program, introducing a fresh approach to in-home care services and meal delivery. This new program is designed to enhance your access to aged care services, products, and equipment, helping you stay healthy and connected both at home and within your community.
Under Support at Home, there will be eight distinct levels of ongoing funding designed to more accurately match your individual needs, effectively doubling the four levels that were previously offered by the HCP. As your personal circumstances change over time, you have the option to be reassessed and potentially move to a higher funding level, ensuring that you continue to receive the most appropriate and tailored support for your unique situation. Additionally, short-term pathways are available to address temporary needs. With Support at Home funding, you can access a wide range of services, including meal delivery.
Fed by Jed is proud to be a provider of quality ready-made meals that can be delivered straight to your door using your Support at Home funding. We operate a colour-coded rotating menu which offers a range of main meals, larger sized main meals, soups and desserts. With a focus on home-style dishes and internationally inspired cuisine, there is something for everyone.
Transitioning to Support at Home
From 1 November 2025, all current HCP recipients, as well as those who are newly assessed and found eligible, will transition seamlessly to the Support at Home program. If you have previously received HCP funding, you can rest assured that you will continue to be able to order and receive delicious Fed by Jed home-delivered meals without any changes or interruptions to your funding eligibility or service quality.
